| Horizon Videography, a division of Musical Horizon, is a company that I had thought up and designed when I was still in high school! While in high school, I took several courses in Television Production, where I learned all about videotaping, TV Crew Positions, Video Editing both Linear and Non-Linear. In my junior year, I was a member of the TV News program, A.M. Wired. This was our school's morning announcements program, which was broadcast not only to the school, but on the local TV channel. During my senior year, I directed a 30 minute live television show that was broadcast to our town's local TV channel. I was also fortunate enough to be allowed to participate in an Independent Study in Television Production. I created a 45 minute documentary about my other skill, music, called Music Is Magic. I was also in charge of producing television advertisements to promote new courses at the high school. These were aired on the school's morning announcement program. Also, I was a student tutor, helping the beginner, and even some of the more advanced students, for the Television Production department.
After high school, I attended Penn State, where I earned my Bachelor of Music Performance at their presigious School of Music. While at Penn State, I was able to learn and develop new skills regarding audio recording and editing. Throughout my years at Penn State, I always kept looking for ways to incorporate my old friend, "video", into my practices.
When I graduated in May 2005, I started a mobile recording studio, Musical Horizon. Musical Horizon is the parent company of Horizon Videography. As of early 2007, I finally started integrating my video production skills back into the production world, and hence Horizon Videography was born.
